Fieschertal
Fieschertal is a warm, romantic village in the «Valais» 1050m.a.s.l. surrounded by an awe-inspiring
Alpine-environment. In a short walk from our resort, Casa Yolanda, you will find a restaurant, food
and convenience store, shuttle bus station and a paraglider flying school. General facilities in and
around Casa Yolanda and house Flying Center: Equipment for barbeques, landing field for paragliders,
car park (free), playground, sauna, solarium, andry with dryer.

HOUSE FLYING CENTER
The Flying Center is a building with 6 flats. The holiday flat is on the first floor, all the others are
owner-occupied flats inhabited by locals without children. The building is situated on level ground, in a
sunny and quiet location with an unobstructed view, surrounded by lawns, playground and gardens.
In front of the building there is the landing site of Hansi Zeiter’s famous paragliding school: a favourite
landing spot in summer and winter for hundreds of pilots. In Fieschertal it’s possible to buy some
essential groceries, where as in Fiesch there are plenty of opportunities for shopping.
 
 
A white blanket covers the valley in winter. A snowy landscape
surrounds Flying Center. In front of the house, children are
frolicking in the snow with their fathers, building snowmen and
igloos. Skiers and snowboarders take the free shuttle bus to Fiesch.
From there, a cable car takes them up to the Aletsch plateau with
its ski lifts and chairlifts, where they can enjoy their favourite
pastime. Before heading back down into the valley, it’s party time
in the tepee.

Nordic skiers take the train to Oberwald, where 100 km of cross
country trails await them. To get back, they can board the train

Flying Center is an excellent base for hikers. Make your choice:
there is the Aletsch area with its protected forest and the
Aletsch Glacier, the Binn valley with its unique minerals, the
Goms valley with its sunburnt houses, Bellwald with its
mountain lakes, Zermatt with the Matterhorn, Saas-Fee with its
traditional buildings, the spas of Leukerbad or Brigerbad.
Cable cars and gondolas carry you effortlessly up to the
fascinating mountain scenery. Visit Montana and enjoy a
leisurely walk around the lake. Try out Nordic walking:
Taking along walking sticks makes your hike easier and burns
more calories. In rainy weather you can visit Brig and the
